Is it worth it going to an Electric Water Pump? Can anyone offer any insight on them?

yes and no

they are good and free up a few hp but you can get alot more bang for the buck with something else.

Probably not worth it until you get a more exotic combination all the way around. They can also be a little difficult to integrate into a full accessories setup, especially on a mod motor.

As a final thing, I would say that their longevity in a regularly driven street application is almost certainly lower than a stock style belt driven pump.

They are worth it on a drag only car like mine though.

I agree with Matthew especially on the part about working it into the stock accessory routing - nearly impossible when it's the centerpiece.

Bang for the buck, it is extremely low on the list of mods to a stock car.

Those are good choices. Do you have a X-Pipe Jay? You're car is loud enough, so I'm guessing you do.

Yeah Matthew I Do have an UPR o/r X....im thinking of throwing high flow magnaflow cats in it....i dont know yet, only thing I dont like is the fumes.
I might have a half decent winter vehicle lined up here soon so if i get that it wont matter to me.

Just on another note...I have magnaflow mufflers and its loud enough, if anyone is thinking of magnapacks or slp exhaust, get a catted H or prochamber....i have heard lots of cars with offroad pipes and magnapacks/slp and they sound like shit.

I didn't like mine with the off-road X and it has stock mufflers. Convertible though, so it's louder inside regardless. I put the bassani high-flow cats on it, retested, and lost 0 HP. The car was a lot more docile sounding that way, and probably about 50 times less polluting. For a daily driver, I just didn't want it to be ridiculously loud. I've got something else for that!

BTW: I can't believe I spelled "Your" as "You're" in that earlier post. Next thing you know I'll be making every post in haxor speak. :)
