Back in The Car Game

Hey Guys,

New on here just wanted to say hi. Glad to be back on in the game a bit.
Just finished (that's a bald face lie) my 1991 GT. Did the 5 bolt Conversion,Lowered it with an full Eibach kit and swapped on some Cobra brakes and put discs on the rear. Also swapped in some 3.73's, BBK Long Tubes and Magnaflows.

Need to get some some sub frame connectors, swap in the short shifter and replace the 90's vintage Sony Stereo ASAP. Next is HCI and Interior. When I get a bank account back.

Well I had a lot of fun last week out at the track, and want to try my hands at maybe going a little faster with less then a full tank of gas in the car.

last i heard,

-Adams got a boost leak and needs boost controller and guages
-Chris's car needs a tune and and KB put on it.
-Little matts car needs the engine put in.
-Mine is just waiting for a driveshaft
-Gary's just starting to pull his motor

Anyone else still down? trying to think of others off the top of my head.

Camrose - May 24, 25, & 26

I thought I'd better give you guys a little more notice of the Camrose show this year. The last weekend in May, the 24th, 25th, & 26th.

The big news for this year is side-by-side racing! Still only 100 Foot, but two cars at a time, and it will be on the street, not a parking lot.

Friday night is Fun Runs, so no trophies, just racing. This is more intended for the slow cars and the kids, but we usually get a few guys testing their setups and preparing for Sunday. Everyone is welcome.

Saturday is the Show 'n Shine downtown, and the Autocross out at the CRE. Be downtown before noon if you want your car in the show, or be out at the CRE around 10 for the Autocross. The Show 'n Shine will end around 4:30, cruising to start around 5:30. There is also a drive-in movie after it gets dark.

Sunday is the competitive 100 Footer and as mentioned is side-by-side on the street. The classes have changed, so it's not as complicated as it was before. It's pretty much two street classes, a modified class, and an all-out race class.

What did you guys do for DRL on your cobras when you imported them ?

(I don't want/need anything permanent, just something to pass the inspection)

Hey all. Season is getting closer and I'm looking at some new boots. Wondering if anyone knows if a 305/35R20 will fit on my stock rims. The rims are either a 20X9 or a 20X10, not really sure. The 275's that I have aren't even close to protruding from the rims. Any advice would be great.

Well I wasn't going to put these on until the street sweepers were done. But I got a nail through my MT's on my FR500's. So I did a polish/Nano seal on them last night and threw them on.
